Business Link West Yorkshire

Business Link West Yorkshire (BLWY) is part of The West Yorkshire Enterprise Partnership Limited and is the first choice for all small to medium-sized businesses in the region looking for advice and support on any aspect of their business. BLWY help entrepreneurs to set up in business and encourage and support small businesses to grow and succeed.

City Training Services

Established in 1983, City Training Services is one of the largest independent training organisations in the Bradford area, providing a wide range of training services for industry, commerce and the local community. They enable employers to access funds and training for their existing staff while putting young school leavers in touch with organisations keen to give them training and employment opportunities.

Confederation of British Wool Textiles (CBWT)

The Confederation of British Wool Textiles Ltd is a not-for-profit membership based organisation, providing a wide range of the highest quality professional services to meet the evolving needs of companies in the textile industry. Their aim is to facilitate effective representation, support, guidance and training to ensure the development of the competitiveness of our member companies in a global market environment. CBWT also manage the manufacturing brokerage for West Yorkshire, which targets SMEs involved in food processing, wood and paper products, metal fabrication, textiles and print.

Invest in Bradford (IIB)

Invest in Bradford is the most comprehensive source of help and advice for companies investing in the District. By working closely with the key local and regional agencies it provides practical services either directly or through local partners. While they try to assist companies with any issue that will enable them to expand and grow. The most popular services are: Land and Property Search/Development, Funding Support, Economic and Business Information, European Information, Recruitment Assistance, Supply Chain Development and Training solutions.

Keighley College

Keighley College offer a variety of customised training courses covering basic skills, customer relations, management skills as well as technical and vocational skills. They are also a CoVE for Gas Innovation and Welding & Fabrication.

Learning and Skills Council for West Yorkshire

The Learning and Skills Council for West Yorkshire (LSCWY) is responsible for learning in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield. It is the second largest council in the country managing a budget of nearly £300 million.

Shipley College

Shipley College has an established reputation within the business community for the quality and value of its provision. The college can offer a range of services to business from the development of custom built short courses, the management of work-based training schemes to conference and meetings facilities. In addition to this, they are a Centre of Vocational Excellence (COVE) for Care-related training provision.

University of Bradford

The University of Bradford's mission are committed to working in collaboration with businesses, public sector and voluntary organisations, contributing to the economic and social development of the district and the region. Underpinning their mission of “Making Knowledge Work”, they offer Services to Business and the Community through an extensive knowledge base of expertise and a wide range of subsidised business support services.

West Yorkshire Training Access Point (WYTAP)

WYTAP provides employers, businesses, training providers and students with access to over 25,000 separate courses and training providers covering a wide range of subjects from childcare and basic skills to employment opportunities and funding sources.
